Scanning Microscope

Dear Sir,

I am building a scanning microscope and I think you might have the
electronics I need to control it. I need 2 kHz 4 analog outputs (>= 16
bits). I also need 4 or 8 analog outputs 16 bits, 4 kHz. I was thinking
in PXI because I want that they work independant of any computer. Do you
have any suggestion? Do you have high voltage amplifiers/outputs (+-300
V, 2 kHz)?

I also ask you to send me the 2004 catalog because I have not received it.

Thanks,

Hernán E. Grecco

Hello Hernan,

You are going to need a PXI chasis along with a PXI Controller. The amount of slots in your PXI chasis will be based on how many you think you will need. If you want the system to be Real-Time (independent of computer and OS) then you can use the PXI-8186 Controller. The High Speed Voltage Output Card that I would suggest is the PXI-6733. This has 8 Analog Outputs at 16 bits and 1MS/s, so you will need two of them. Unfortunately, we do not offer any high voltage amplifiers. For more information on these PXI options as well as others, please refer to PXI Systems
