resman command line execution error

Hi,
We have been using RESMAN as a command line execution for many years.  I have just installed LV8 on a brand new WinXP Pro machine.  Resman will run correctly with MAX, but when I run a command line execution, I get an error message as shown below:

If I run it programmatically from LV8 (which is the way we've always done it), I use the SYSTEM EXEC.VI  to implement the command line shown in the picture.  When I do run it this way, I get an error code out of SYSTEM EXEC.VI:  -1073741819

According to the ERROR CODE HANDLER, this code is not assigned.

AGAIN - RESMAN RUNS flawlessly from MAX.  It's only when I run either directly from a command window or programmatically to a command line execution that this error occurs.  (The windows popup error message occurs in EITHER of those cases, but of course, I only get the error code if run from LV8).

Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

I PROMISE I searched the forum for the answer before I posted!!! 🙂

I just found the reference to the dll patch for resman and VXI 3.3.1.

It worked!  Sorry to press the panic alarm too soon!
