Setting VS Model Inport Values within LabVIEW...

I have a top-level VI which is compiled to a VeriStand model file (.lvmodel). Is there an API that will allow me to set the values of the inports from within the model such that the change is also reflected in VeriStand?

Silly me, I realized the practical reason this cannot and should not be done.
