UDS in Veristand

Attempting to determine a solution to incorporate UDS in our current testing environment. In my search of NI solutions, I have come across the vehicle communication software suite with the diagnostic add on and the automotive diagnostic command set toolkit. After some digging, it appears both of these solutions require some level of labVIEW. My question is, are there any solutions for Veristand that don't rely on labVIEW? Basically looking for a custom device I can add to veristand and hopefully import an ODX or database of some sort.

You can use Diagnostics-Custom-Device for NI-ADCS, but it does not have support for the database.

The new Vehicle Communication Diagnostic Toolkit supports database files, but I am not sure it ships with a custom device. You can install and evaluate it before making a purchase.

I have downloaded the evaluation VCOM with the diagnostics add-on. During my evaluation and attempt to create some type of configuration I could deploy, I came across instructions open labVIEW and us the VCOM helper utility to restart the server. So I just want to confirm there is no solution that does not require labVIEW? 

There is a VCOM custom device but there doesn't appear to be any way to import a data base file to configure the UDS session.

There is a possibility that the development of the custom device is still in progress. I would recommend that you reach out to NI for more information.
