We have seen a small automotive selection of controls, what about an aviation section?
It would be nice if you exposed a plugin model for the controls so that customers could make their own.
We were able to personalize our indicators quite a bit with the old Labview/VS template integration: for instance we were carrying string informations carrying data coming from a serial panel custom device simulation onto doubles parameters and made indicators that showed the strings on our veristand test page extracting them from double channels values.
We had all type of aviation gauges, from tanks to flaps deflection to trim indicators, etc.
It would also be nice if one were able to save templates of a type, specifically the Ring type, we have ARINC429 parameters that carry the same enumerated data types and while building pages it would be nice not to have to re-write the whole ring indicator every time or go hunt for one using the same definition and copy pasting it.
Also momentary switches are missing, toggle switches, rocker switches, etc. Maybe just a regular push/momentary button where one can load his own on/off images.
Also it would be nice to be able to change both the on and off color of a button, rather than just being able to select the ON color.
Another nice feature we had in the old workspace was the scaling and offset of any type of control, including booleans, if we ever needed to invert a control/indicator boolean to 0 = true we would just do scaling = -1 and offset = -1 in the UI manager inversion is not possible anymore.
