how to log real-time channel data to text file on the host computer ?

I want to do channel data logging to a text file instead of .tdms file ?

Is it possible to do ? if so can any 1 please provide me which Iron Python functions do we have from API?

I don't know the Python function, but under VI.LIB\NI veristand\execution\DataLogging\New Data Logging Specification.vi (right click on VI wiring diagram->NI Veristand->execution->DataLogging->Configuratin->New Data Logging Specification.vi)  This lets you configure your recorder for TDMS, TXT, or CSV.
