Hi,
Can I use vitrual bench to measure I2C/SPI/CAN by digital I/O or logic analyzer?
And is it possible using digital I/O to communicate with other device by I2C etc?
Thanks,
Jimmy

You might be able to get it to work (not sure how fast the DIO on the Virtual Bench can go), but for I2C, I would recommend using something that is actually meant for it, like the USB-8451 or USB-8452.

We are planning on adding SPI/I2C protocol decode on the Logic Analyzer and SPI/I2C mastering on the GPIO in a future release. For now those are not available, but you may be able to decode the data in LabVIEW and master the bus with static GPIO. Both of those options aren't very ideal, though, and it may not even be possible. The other option (like was mentioned) was to try out one of the 845x devices that do mastering natively.

Thanks guy,
Do you means the function will release in software upgrade?Or new hardware version of VirtualBench?
Actually VirtualBench is very attractive if it can decode and mastering.
If this function will include in software upgrade, I will buy one in recent day.

It would be available in a free software upgrade.
