measure phase

Hi,

I own a VB-8034. I would like to know if it is possible to measure the phase difference between 2 signals?

Hi LabMIQ,

In the application, this can only be done by hand because it doesn't have any two-channel measurements. You can use single-channel measurements to find and highlight the maximum/minimum, and then use the track cursors to measure the time difference. Add a period measurement, and you can calculate the phase difference.

This approach can also be taken with the API: find the time coordinates of the same reference point in the waveforms, measure the period, and calculate the phase difference.

124 us / 500 us = 0.248 = 89.3deg

Hi JoeFriedchicken,

Thanks for your answer but it's a shame that it is not incorporated into the software...
