Can you use Active Directory groups to assign licenses?

Can you assign product to an AD group of users or computers so that VLM issues them a license?  

We have an automated process for managing AD groups that we would like to leverage to manage our NI licenses.

This practice is not recommended by NI, however, it is possible. This article goes into more depth on the issue. The NI recommended procedure would be using a batch file.

Offhand I am not immediately aware of this functionality and will have to research it further through our internal archives. Are you generating disconnected license files? Approximately how many machines are you looking to deploy to?
