Problem configuring WSN network in MAX

HI,

I am facing this problem suddenly in using my NI 9792 gateway .The module is getting detected in MAX  It is that I am not able to find the Node option under devices and interfaces of the gateway in MAX. I am using LV2010 and NI WSN 1.2. Correspondingly even from LabVIEW Web servies application I am not able to add  nodes. I  formatted the controller and dumped the software multiple times. I check my licences all are active. I cannot make out what the problem is. Sometimes I also get VISA error under Devices and interfaces. 

There Isn't any driver compatibility issue . Because i have worked with the same setup before.

Can someone help me understand what the problem is?

Has there been any hardware/software change in your setup? Are you using a PXI controller?

Where would a PXI fit in , in such system? There have been no hardware changes..

Now wven the Visa error is vanished once i started using the Hardware on LabVIEW.

I cannot regenerate the error which occured. Thats my concern.

So, I assume your setup was working all correctly before. The nodes were also added to your gateway I assume. Now you are unable to find your nodes under the gateway. Do correct me if I am wrong.

I have a few questions:

1. After you have formatted the gateway, have you added the nodes again?

2. For how long have you been using the setup and when did you face the problem?

3. Do you have any other gateway where you have tested the health of the nodes?

Thanks for the post. I see that you are not able to see your WSN nodes in MAX or in the Web UI. 

The fact that you cannot see your node configuration page in both MAX and your web browser, leads me to believe that all the software may not be installed on your 9792. Will you look at the pictures attached to this post and make sure that you have the same software packages installed? What software do you have installed on your 9792? You can add and remove software from your 9792 from Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). 

See the screen shots I posted in another forum, post 15,  of the software installed on my 9792.

Hi Corby,

Except for Data-Sockate for LabVIEW Real time version , it is 4.8 in the image shown  and I have 4.7. Except that everything else is fine. When the Node option doesnt funtion from MAX even the Addition of node and Deletion of node from LabVIEW code also does not work . This is my observation .
