DAQ Assistant will not generate input and outputs

When using the DAQ Assistant for myDAQ, the assistant will not generate any inputs or outputs once configured. My OS is Windows Vista, and I have tried the tips found in the knowledge base, but to no avail. I've also tried deleting Labview.ini which has failed as well. Has anyone else had this issue and what are the solutions to correct it?

Hello,

Is the device showing up in MAX or the device manager?

Can you communicate with it in MAX?

Try some of the things in this article if you are seeing those problems.

Are you seeing any errors?

My device is myDAQ and yes it shows up in MAX and I am able to test and use the I/O with no problems. Also, I can use it with the Elvis Express Instruments. What I cannot do is use the DAQ assistant in LV as it's supposed to function. I place a DAQ assistant on the block diagram, and choose a read analog channel, click OK and it does not generate any input or outputs for me. I've tried all of the solutions in the KB, but nothing is fixing the problem. It's been suggested that I do a complete uninstall of LV and re-install - but I hoped that it could be fixed without having to do that.

Do you have any other suggestions?

What version of DAQmx are you using?
