I am currently working with MATLAB Data acquisition tool box to access the national instrument devices. Now I want to access the NI 9205 through the internet at remote place. Is this system works?

Hi hwasif
Can you reiterate your question please?
What is it precisely that you are doing?
What do you wish to do?
Are you programming in MATLAB?
You mention a 9205 but this is just a module what chassis do you have it in?

I am currently capturing data from accelerometers by using NI USB 6210. I access the data using MATLAB data acquisition tool box and analyse in MATLAB. But now my application changed to remote data acquisition. Now I want to capture data remote through broadband line. I have seen module NI Ethernet module 9205 that can acquire the data on internet. I am not sure whether I need to plug the Ethernet cable from 9205 module staright into broad band line and access remotely by using MATLAB data acquisition tool box?. I work for University and restricted to MATLAB. Matlab support the ENET 9205.

Hi hwasif
As you are programming in Matlab you are best off contacting the math works as they support National Instruments hardware in Matlab. We at National instruments support the device in LabVIEW , c, c++ and VB. The maths works have their own forums and support department. What you are trying to do is perfectly possible in LabVIEW.
All the best with your application.
