Installation problem

Hi all,

I downloaded myDAQ Software Suite from:

https://www.ni.com/en-gb/support/downloads/software-products/download.mydaq-software-suite.html#3055...

However, when I want to install, mid way, it stops and gives an error, and ask me to check the internet connection! I have tried million times at different hours via network cable. Even I have checked the network, it is all OK. I have recently downloaded other software with the same network and the same set up. I do not know what to do. Would you please help and suggest a solution? Thank you.

What version of LabVIEW do you already have installed?  [I'm pretty sure that you need LabVIEW installed before installing the myDAQ suite].  The "Internet connection" warning is NIPM's way of saying "I got stuck, and this is my generic excuse ...".  NIPM does this all the time.  The usual "fix" is to carefully uninstall all NI Software (be careful, if you do this incorrectly, you'll have a system that will need to be completely rebuilt, starting with wiping the C: drive and reinstalling Windows, before you can (re-)install LabVIEW).

I recently installed myDAQ software on my LabVIEW 2019 SP1 (32-bit) LabVIEW system.  The Driver that I needed to install was the NI-ELVISmx Driver.  There is also a myDAQ Software Suite 19.0 -- I don't recall whether I downloaded and installed that, or just did the NI-ELVISmx driver ...

Adding onto Bob's comment - I agree that is a generic message and it's hard to troubleshoot without more information about the setup / where the installation fails

If we're just after an immediate fix, what happens if you try downloading from the offline installers? You can access them under the 'Download' button:

The installation of that media shouldn't require an internet connection, so whatever's throwing an error should be bypassed.

It never was an Internet connection!  This "error message" in NIPM seems to be the equivalent of "We have no idea what happened, but maybe it was your network connection?", i.e. an "excuse" rather than an "explanation".

The "fix" is often as simple as running NIPM again, and asking it to install only one Module with no addons ...
