Interface?

Hi, Committee,

I am very new with LabVIEW, and looking for the interface for my project. Which interface is suitable for 3 input and 3 output, that can display temperature reading. And also able to be a stand alone module in the system.

Thanks for posting on the forums.

Could you elaborate on the interface you are after please. What kind of inputs/outputs are you after? Depending on the system you are wanting to create a range of inputs and outputs may be needed. If you are displaying temperature readings one of these will need to be a thermocouple.

If you haven't done some background reading on NI Elvis already here is a good start.

Thank you for the replied.

I know there are plenty of models available, but I have no time to browse them.  The following info is going to be used for my project:

1 analogue input (temperature sensor, LM35) and rain sensor

2 digital input (rain sensor), LDR,

2 analogue output (fan)

2 digital output (motor driver)

Hi Sufre,

Did you already intend to use NI Elvis? If so can you specify exactly what you mean when you are looking for an interface for your project?

The majority of NI Elvis topboards will be able to support your requirements as will an NI myDAQ.
