Please, help me... I must configure mitutoyo dmx16c connection with labview 8.5.

mitutoyo dmx16c is a data aquisition device connected to mitutoyo digimatic indicators.

how  does labview identify serial connection of dmx 16c?

Hi Natale,

LabVIEW allows you to configure, set and manage every kind of serial communication. Regardless of the instrument you should control, you need to specify the communication settings first, than made queries and read data back.

I suggest you to:

1. Use a serial LabVIEW example (open LabVIEW, than select from the menu bar help»Example Finder... and make a search for 'serial'
2. Use the InstrumentControl.vi (an express Vi that through a configurable panel allows you to configure the steps you need for a serial communication)
