Hello,
I am hoping that some one can point me in the right direction.
I have developed a LIN API [using the NI VC++ Example code] for my LIN hardware [NI USB-8476s] on Windows Vista. Everything works well.
However, I take exactly the same hardware and software and run it under Windows XP - and it doesn't work.
I know that the LIN device drivers [2.5.2] support Win XP.
I have used the NI Spy program - and found the following error frame. "BFF62068". Apparently this means: "Intermediate receive queue overflow. This queue holds frames as they are transferred
from the CAN chip into object read queues. Solutions: Set the Net Interface mask and comparators to filter out frames; reduce overall bus traffic."
Why would I be getting this error on Win XP and not on Vista? How might I go about fixing it? I have tried it on many Windows XP computers - none of them work.
Cheers,
Terry

What is the service pack for WIN XP you are running? Could you update to the latest one? Does a regular LIN example work?
Could you give NI-CAN 2.6.1 a try?
