Blue screen of death every 45 minutes

My computer crashes every 45 minutes when my vi is running. I don't have to be doing anything in particular to make it happen. It happens like clockwork every 45 minutes. The vi does not have any other functional problems when it runs. I am running
Windows 2000 Professional (service pack 3)on a Dell Optiplex GX260 with a Pentium 4 2GHz with 256MB RAM and a 40GB hard drive. The problem also happened when I
was running it on a different computer running Windows NT. The other machine was older with less memory and a slower processor. I am using NI PCI-6527 IO and PCI-CAN hardware. I have NI-488.2 version 2.2.0.3010, NI-DAQ and NI-DNET installed with drivers. The nipalusb.sys is not version 1.4. The NiCANSrv.sys driver is version 0.0.
0.0. The result of the crash is a blue screen with the following error message:
***STOP 0x00000050 (0xED4E0000, 0x00000001, 0xED31A6D2, 0x00000000)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED AREA
*** Address ED31A6D2 base at ED318000,
Date Stamp 3adf3dd6 - NICANsrv.sys
Beginning dump of physical memory.
I reboot and everything works fine for about an hour.
I looked at the interrupts and the two NI cards, USB ports and a few other devices all share IRQ 9. Device manager does not show any conflicts when I
view the PCI-CAN with Device Manager in Windows System Control Panel. I also monitored the CPU usage up until it crashed and I did not see anything unusual.
