CAN sensor software termination...

Good day dear colleagues! I'll try to connect PCI-CAN High Speed Series 2 with "CANopen 3658 Kuebler sensor"... I connect resistor 120 Ohm between pin 2 and 7 of CAN out my PCI-CAN card, but my Kuebler sensor has software termination (it is described in manual for the Kuebler sensor). I can't understand how can I do the software termination ?? On my CAN bus only Kuebler and one NI PCI-CAN. Many thanks in advance. Andrew

Howdy Andrew,

I'm a little unclear as to what you're asking.  It sounds like you have the termination down correctly for the NI hardware but are confused as to how to software terminate your Kuebler sensor.  I'm not sure I can help you with the sensor configuration, but I can provide an article describing how to set up proper termination on a CAN network.  Post back if you need any additional information.  Good luck!

From Kuebler I have informed that
termination in the sensor is default (i.e. 120 Ohm is on state).
