CAN sw. ver. 2.0 versus LabVIEW 7?

Why can't I find the CAN functions in LabVIEW 7 when I have installed CAN sw. ver. 2.0 ?
I don't have the hardware (CAN card) installed.

Hi,

The NI-CAN 2.0 installer was released after the LabVIEW 7 release, so the NI-CAN installer doesn't "know" where to place the VIs.

You can dowload the NI-CAN 2.0 driver and an add-on to install the LabVIEW 7 support files:
