CAN traffic monitoring-NI CAN card

Hi all,

I want to monitor CAN bus activities in a network using PCMCIA high speed CAN card.

Whether it is possible to read the complete data frame including the CRC (even if there is any error) ?

Is it possible using Labview and NI cards?

Can any can help me out.

Hi SajK,

You certainly can monitor the CAN BUS with a PCMCIA CAN card. There is an example VI in LabVIEW called Bus Monitor.vi that will monitor the entire bus for you.
