Channel exists in multiple messages

Hello,

I've a problem with the CAN-Channels i've importet into the MAX.

How the subject says: I have in some messages the same channel names.

Is there a way  to use a specific message with a channel-name?

hi,

dont mistake me..sometimes this happen..

i.) check whether same channel name exists in different messages..in this case conflict will arise ..

ii.)if u want u can give ur channel name as ur message name ..no issue will come..

yes you are rigth i've the same channel name in different messages. Do you know a way to use a certain message of these messages with the same channel name inside the message?

Or is their no other way to delete or rename the other messages / channels?

hi,

you can rename the channel/message name by ..  open MAX>>right click the chan/msg nem>>open properties>> one window will open>>in that edit the name...

after doing this save the chanel configuration to a channel configuration file...
