Is it possible to change vehicle speed calculation using CAN

I can retrieve the speed using a PID but is it possible to change the calculation or coefficients of calculation for the speed equation?

Hi Robert,

Generally the CAN network is used for sharing information through out vehicles many systems. Some vehicles have reprogrammable controllers, "how" to do this is information that you would have to get from the vehicle manufacture, as they don't usually make that information public.
