thank you for posting at the National Instruments Forum. It is not possible to simulate a CAN-Device in Measurement and Automation Explorer, like you maybe know from our DAQmx-Devices.
If you like to test an application, you may use the virtual CAN interfaces 256 and 257. Both are created when you install the NI-CAN driver. Both devices are virtually connected and all frames, which are sent to the interface 256 are transferred internally to 257 and vice versa.
