J1962M Cable to connect to NI-8473

I am tring to "hack my car" using NI-8473s CAN interface to a J1962 OBD-II connector.  I have the Automotive Diagnostics Toolkit, but want to order the proper cable to go from the J1962 to the NI-8473.  An adapter would also work as I also have the 192017-02 cable (DB9F to DB9F I think).  Do you have a source for connecting to the OBD-II?

Thank you.

Laine,

Glad to see you are taking advantage of the CAN network in your car.  The cable I used was the ValueCAN OBD Cable from Intrepid Control systems: http://www.intrepidcs.com/

It's about $25 if I recall correctly.

Thanks Paul.  I found it, but they have a min $100 order, so I looked around for others and found a number of pinouts, to wit:

Looks like Intrepid is the only one to match up correctly.  Is this a weird pinout?  I think we will just go flying leads and make a connector.

Thanks,
Laine
