Hi I am a new user of LIN communication protocol. Our supplier is using vector hardware to communicate with a controller and at our place we are using NI LIN hardware. There seems to be some issues while interfacing these two hardwares. So far what I found was, vector LIN system is putting one stop bit where as the NI hardware needs 2 stops bits at the end of each byte. This is my finding I dont know whether this is an issue or not. My understanding is, when the NI or vector hardware said they follow the LIN protocol the streaming of bytes should be the same. I really appreciate if any one can help me with this.

Thanks,

Mudda.
