PCI-CAN interface compatability

I am currently using the base version of Labview 8.0 on a windows XP PC. Will I need any additional software or licences to fully utilise the 2 port, High speed, NI PCI-CAN/2 Series 2 CAN interface card?

Hello oogflip,

       You will need the NI CAN drivers as can be seen from the data sheet of this device here.

You can get the CAN drivers from our website here and the bus monitor utility is included within the driver set. This will enable you to use your CAN device on your local machine with LabVIEW.
