Hi everyone I'm trying to know the PID of sensors on my car through CAN BUS using a NI USB-8473 and Automotive Diagnostic Command Set but i have some problem.
I'm using the example OBD Get supported pid.vi but when i run it with NI-XNET i have this error "NI-XNET: (Hex 0xBFF6308A) The interface name given does not specify a valid and existing interface. Solution: Use a valid and existing interface. These can be obtained using MAX, XNET system properties, or the LabVIEW XNET Interface IO name. If you are using CompactRIO, refer to the topic "Getting Started with CompactRIO" in the NI-XNET Hardware and Software Help."
Instead if i select the NI-CAN i have this error " Error -8260 occurred at ISOTP Receive.vi NI Automotive Diagnostics Command Set:Diagnostic command timeout. A response from the ECU was not received."
I'm using Labview 2014 with latest drivers of NIXNET and CAN and i Know my module is working and i have the correct baud rate of my CAN BUS because i have created another vi using Channel API and Frame API and i can receive correct data.
Is there someone who could help me solving this problem? is there something i can't know?
Thank you for your time.
