SNMP support

I am curious as to why NI does not supply TCPRead() & TCPWrite() equivalents for the SNMP protocol, such as UDPGet() & UDPSet(). If (as I've seen in some of the previous posts) the answer is simply that they are in the SDK, so get-em for yourself, why did that same logic not apply to the TCP funcs? Just wondering...

I seems there are some third party vendors that have developed a toolkit for SNMP. I really do not know much about SNMP but from everything I have read I seems that SNMP was built on top of TCP/IP. Take a look at the following webpages: http://pong.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/4CD3625A939A77DE852564050047D3BD?OpenDocument

Not really the answer I was after. Something along the lines of...we decided not to do it because... would be a lot better for me.
