dll load errors with NiCAN 2.1.1

Hi there,

i've got some troubles with my application after updating from NiCAN 1.6 to NiCAN 2.1.1. It seems that the new nicanmsc.dll is loading nimax.exe which wants to access the dll's nidaqcfg.dll, imaqcfm.dll and IciIni.dll, but these are nowhere. After confirming the errors my application runs as it did before. How can i avoid loading the dll's or , if necessary, what do i have to install to get them ?

Best reguards,
Harry

Sounds like either you do not have NI-MAX installed, or NI-MAX has been corrupted or partially deleted for some reason.

The NI-CAN driver installation should have installed the current version of MAX if it was needed. There may have been a problem when upgrading and older version of MAX. You could try uninstalling CAN, MAX and DAQ, then reinstall all the latest drivers and see if that takes care of it.

If that doesn't do it, I'd put a call into NI support and see if they can sort it out.

Good Luck
