I got "Media State .............: Cable Disconnected" after ipconfig under Win2K. Please tell me what I have to do to fix this problem?

This means that there is no physical connection to ethernet for that adaptor. Either the cable is unplugged or the hub/switch/computer on the other end of the cable was disconnected or turned off.
