As long as you have someway to communicate to the hardwares driver, you're OK. This is usually a .dll of some type.
All the Vector cards that I have worked with have a .dll that you can interface to from either LabVIEW or LabWindows. Vector actually supplies many LabVIEW dirvers for their products, so I'd check on their website in the support area. That will save you a lot of work.
