Hi All,
We do not have the TZM FlexCard (will be available only at later point of time) for testing the devices on a FlexRay Communication Bus.
I would like to know, if there are any ways of running/using the FlexRay LabVIEW Library in an Emulation mode?
Thanks in Adavance

Hi
there is no emulation mode for the FlexRay Lib. You may ask Eberspaecher (former TZM) if they have any updated driver.
As far as I know they have redesigned all of their LV drivers to support the new PXI board, maybe this new drivers support the PCMCIA FLexCard as well.

Thanks for the instant reply Roland.
I did not quite understand the wordings (" If you do not have a TZM FlexCard available, it is possible to run the FlexRay library for LabVIEW in an emulation mode" ) in the FlexRay Automotive Communication tutorial (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3352)
By the way, does the FlexRay Library for LabVIEW Version 1.1 (supports only LV 7.0, 7.1 and 8.0) does not support FlexCard PXI from TZM?

you are correct, there is an emulation mode possible for the TZM FlexCard.
However I recommend to talk to TZM (Eberspaecher) if there is a newer driver for the FlexCard available.
The NI FlexRay Library driver does NOT support the FlexCard PXI from TZM/Eberspaecher

Thanks for the Information
any idea of using the NI LabVIEW FlexRay library version-1.1 in an emulation mode for the supported FlexCard (32-Bit CardBus)?
I will talk to TZM guys regarding the updated LabVIEW Driver for the FlexCard PXI and its emulation.

Prakash.
