log error frames possible with USB-8473?

Hi all, the nsetattr.vi always returns -1074388985.

Is it possible to log error frames with the USB hardware? If so, how?

I think the USB-8473 only supports logging of Bus Errors and not Comm Errors (two different attributes that are similar - the Bus Errors is newer and provides more information)

the error you recieve:

Error NI-CAN:  (Hex 0xBFF62007) You attempted to set a configuration attribute while the object is running.  Solutions: Configure attributes prior to opening the object; Stop and restart communication as needed so that you can update configuration attributes.

may be due to  trying to set attributes bevore  you start the communication.

In general it is possible to log error frames (Bus errors as well as Comm Warnings) with  CAN series 2 devices.
