Tim knows everything, but especially anything to do with serial ports. Last time I used serial ports was in the late nineties with LabVIEW 4.0 where I had to talk to two different instruments, one that used \n as termination character and one that used \r instead. Tim wasn't around then, but definitely would have steepened my learning curve. 😄

 

He is the "version conversion" master and must have a basement full of systems with any LabVIEW version from 1.0 to infinity.

I doubt I would have been able to help then as I barely even knew that a serial port was even a thing.😋

Sadly, no. Surprisingly, I only need 4 versions to do nearly all conversions
