Does anyone have a good image enhancing zoom tool??

Looking on the main NI page today, there is a teaser video about:

NI is Redefining Instrumentation. Again.

Attend NIWeek 2012 and be there when National Instruments unveils a new era in instrumentation.

Obscure enough!

OK, looking at one of the key frames of the video, we have some kind of wireless symbol thingy with the three concentric arcs and something sticking out from under the table that looks like a 1980'ies cash register, only smaller, but my eyes (and imagination) are not that great at this moment. 😄

Maybe somebody could average over multiple successive frames, apply some compressed sampling algorithms, sharpen and enhance and show us what they are seeing (can't be too difficult, since it has been done in the movies numerous times!). 😄

Looks to me like the form factor of a PXI processor. I see the lever at the bottom for installing, removing. It even looks like it says, "PXI" on it.

It might not be a new processor. It may be a WiFi or some other RF component in a PXI card.

Here's a 10x magification. Could be PXI, but there is no way to really tell from a few grey pixels. 😄

I've run some filters on it and this is the best I can do:

Now, I'll admit that I may have been running filters with a certain bias. But I couldn't find anything that disproved it either.

But then, this is what I was comparing it to:

OK, that makes sense. Obviously I don't work with PXI modules.

I had the scales wrong in my head. I thought that entire covered contraption was the size of a dessert cart or similar, but obviously it's only the size of a PXI module. That also explains the raised parts in the front.:D

Christians 1st image itself clearly shows that its a PXI system but what kind ?? (Need to wait for that). The wireless symbol strikes me that the system will have a wireless (WiFi) port ( For Simply data transfer or also for deployment of the code ?? - looks cool but don't have the right answer )

Lets wait and see..

Given it is a PXI device of some sort, on what side (left or right) are those levers for

- Controller

- Device

?

???

And here I was thinking that they finally made a module for lefties.

Yes, I recognized later that the controllers have the lever on the right.

But then... would NI be tricky enough to stick a PXI lever under the edge of a cloth to mislead us? We might need that CSI team to analyze all the folds in the cloth and give us a picture of what's under it.
