This isn't a funny thread, I just thought one of Smercurio's responses was funny.

When asked if he had any "other opinion" on how to code a certain problem, he responded:

"No, I don't have another opinion because what I said is the way you have to do it because that's how it works."

While digging into an issue atempting to load VRML files into the 3D picture I was digging into the 8.6 version of the old 3D toolkit when I found a text string inside of "Initialize Scanner.vi" that read;

# SO NOT SUPPORTED THAT YOU'LL BE LIKE "wow, this isn't supported at all!!! =-o"

That beats my best which was (lame) inside an image rendering sub-VI I think I wrote "Connect the dots, la la la..."

What was the funniest comment you ever read in code?

Well, not particularly funny, but I remembercertain error messages for their honesty. 😄

(Nowadays, everything is politically correct.)

' This function is a perfect example of how much VB sucks for serious programming

The program is far from an example of "serious programming".

Christian,

I don't think everyone can see that thread.  😮

Have a look at which forum it was posted in...  😉
