Thanks Muks. I used to go to Kerala Hill stations only on Summer vacations(when it is damn hot and crowded) and this was the first trip when it rains. The terrain looked totally different with help of countless waterfalls,lush green valleys and a challenging trekking inside western ghats with the company of Bisons and leaches. Is Orkut allowed for you ?

Thats bad. Seems Orkut is obsolete for others and I yet to switch to FB. Its too difficult to migrate to another social network,especially with the photos.

Jumping into your discussion guys...
"FortiGuard" seems a powerful name, so no wonder they block everything. 😉
@manumohannair
I took liberty to open your Picasa Web Album, after getting curious by your delicious description of waterfalls and lush greenery and leaches... Because Munnar-Thekkady are in my travel agenda since long. In fact I haven't yet visited Kerala at all. Last time I got close to that region was around 4 years ago, in KodaiKanal. I know it's far away but I think they share the same forest area, or something like that.
Opened just a couple of photos and saw result of the Canon 1000D. Not bad. Did you use manual or full auto in low lights (under clouds)? I use 400D which is still considered one of the best that Canon gave so far in the D-SLR category, although there are 3 more upgrades to that. Saw 1000D photos for the first time and looks good (though I think they could be better with just a little more refined manual settings). Sorry for my critic comments, if you don't like them. 🙂

I m also to switch (just added a few frens), but I m sure I wont. I feel FB is tough to understand about its usage myself.

The Pics are taken by my colleagues and I'm just an "express VI" in using a Camera ;). All these places are under Western Ghats and geography is similar in most places. If you are planning to visit Kerala,You may club western ghats with backwaters when it rains\winter. (June Mid to Feb Mid).
I informed your comments on the pics and he provided another link to his Facebook album if you are interested in his 1000D Snaps(Not sure if you have to sign in FB to see the snaps).

FB was tough for me too. Orkut is not allowed in Middle East and China too. Not sure why FB is allowed and Orkut is not allowed.
