It is evident that you are using your Gmail account, so no chance of an explosion even if you reply to all the LV threads.

Ben,
Thanks for stepping in.Regarding conveying bad news. Let me tell you a sea strory for a change. ...
As someone has pointed once you are at a clients end you will most likely be asked to add a extra magic in a days time free of cost for which we obviously will say a "yes definetly but........." pretty politely. I suppose thats the games rule isnt it?
Oooo sharing notes, cool!
Every customer is different so we have to be dynamic but what I have learned from serving customers for more than thirty years is to "play my cards face up" as i hope I have demonstrated on these forums. I have come to understand and accept that I can not be an expert at everything and i will share my limitiations. But I think my customer style was best described by one of my bosses who wrote I was a "Untiring client advocate". This means I not only fight for but with my customers. "Fighting with" my customers comes into play when they are attacking their budget. I'll go as far as to tell them, "wait a minute, I am going to change into my deffender of the budget hat". I have seldom had any difficulty with taking this approach and my customers actually value this service. mnay Sea stories could be told to ilustrate but I will spare those stories. Customers more often than not prefer an applcation that is useful but limited that was delivered within budget than an app with a lot of potential but is non-functional due to being over budget.
Re: Festivals
Depending on which of my friends you talk to, I either have very few festivals I observe or very many. In my book the only day that I formally set aside is Thanksgiving because,.... well I just can't any logical argument to indicate that it is not good to give thanks. The rest of the holidays observed in the US have something about them that makes crazy. BUT, if you talk to my starving artist friend he would insist I host services every Sunday durring football season.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Ben
