I agree, there is nothing funny about "creationsm" or "intelligent design", while in the case of LabVIEW, we might actually argue that is is intelligently designed. 🙂
OTOH, LabVIEW has certainly evolved into something much better due to the natural selection process imposed by customers and betatesters. It would make Darwin proud!
Yes, making fun of creationists in a cartoon is somewhat of a cheap shot, because it is so easy. 😄 (... but you try to come up with a new and unique idea every night!!! 🐵

Simple, it's just a wordplay on LabVIEW and cartoon, of which toon is a common abbreviation. The lowercase/uppercase pattern matches the pattern for LabVIEW to keep the universe in balance. 🙂
For obvious reasons, it also has been selected because this word is relatively unique and shows a very low hit count on e.g. a google search. You don't want to use something that has many other meanings or uses or is even trademarked.
This time we explore the more recent history, in particular we go back to NI-Week 2007 and see how the LabVIEW champions are doing in the gameshow.
(Sorry, this is more of an insider joke.... Well, you had to be there...) 😄

One very subtle clue would be the "... planet με ..." bit... You need to read between the lines. Some things are less random than you might think.
