Well... after so many years of not liking microsoft products... I am starting to get back on the fence..
I have to finally admit that Windoze 7 is not that bad. To the point that it has me wondering if I should investigate Windows 8.
I won't convert the 3 PC's away from Linux (there are plenty of stories, there), and the 2 running Solaris.
Maybe ther's hope after all.

From what I've heard, Windows 8 is a bust so far. What do you expect when you put a tablet OS on a desktop?
My experience with Windows 7 has been really good. I actually like it more than XP.

At the beginning, the experience was horrible. Highly unstable... A disaster.
I do not know what happened... Upgrades maybe?? ALthough I do not have automatic upgrades on.. But I think it did do one without my permission. But I have to admit, it is more stable.. and rivals XP..
Yeah.. a tablet OS on a desktop? -sigh- Well... I won't comment just yet. We'll see.
My dissapointment with Apple has put a halt on any further purchases of their products.
It seems like the technology sector is completely missing out on doing what's right, which is good products. Only forever increasing profits are the order of the day. It will catch up, and I think soon. People will get fedup. Many already are. As I said earlier: We'll see.
