Some new "auto-correction" occured on me…
Can someone speaking English as native language explain to me why I cannot write a "C" followed by a "4" without being corrected by the forum software?

C-4? No idea why this is censored.

I wrote it without the hyphen!
(I remember this C 4 (without a space inbetween)…)

Without the space
My spam filter is busy rejecting several "Unbelivable" offers for this fine product

That combination of a letter and a number may refer to a military explosive. Bad guys make things go bang. Maybe they think using that combination makes you a bad guy.

Yes, this is the reason why C4 was a banned word. As I mentioned in this other thread, this word was being blocked due to some word restrictions we had setup for one of our foreign language boards. This has since been remedied.
Thanks,

Some countries have strict word restrictions as mandated by their government -- and we do our best to comply with these restrictions.

Good guys make stuff go bang too...
(sucks going through airport security though, residue hangs around for about a week and it's a 45-minute delay in screening...)

Residue is not required.
Try;
flying into Tel aviv
on the eve of ramadan
traveling alone for business
sporting a beard
and then making the mistake of answering the question "What are you here to work on?" by saying "An Atomic Force Microscope".
It earned me a visit to a cinder block room with cameras for hours only to be entertained by two gentlemen wearing vests in August asking more questions and discussing my replies in Hebrew.
Eventually one asked
Is that a screwdriver in your pocket? (gesturing at the NI Pocket screwdriver I carry in my pocket proector)
I replied "Yes, would you like to see it?" and them replying "How did you get through security from the US with that?"
I answered "I don't know but I did it twice."
That was a long day.
