Seems I stand corrected.

Are there no baseball fans here?

Tim,

I must admit that I really don't like baseball, but I had figured out your avatar.  Living in northeast Indiana I've see a lot of your fellow Tiger fans out and about showing the colors.

I recognized the Detroit symbol right away.  Used to be a fan way back when Al Kaline was playing.  That shows how old I am.

To Tim Elser:  Been playing guitar and piano for many years.  Just recently took up the drums.  Its lots of fun.  I must say that it was a lot easier to learn the drums than learning guitar or piano.  Now if I can just figure out how to cram the drums, piano, and guitar into one avatar....

Cramming lots of stuff into avatars is fun.

I use that on twitter.  Everywhere else I just use the D.

Nice to see the M in the logo and not the state S. Michigan fans are alwasys welcome.

My avitar is a picture that I made using LabVIEW in one of the VI of the day threads. I used to have the hockey goalie because my son plays hockey and is a very good goalie. But I started to see it too much from other people so I thought I would do an original work of "art".

First of all, I think of your avatar as art, not "art".  Of course as a wannabe artist stuck with an over-developed left side of the brain, using math to generate art is all I have.

As to my avatar, I am a tame LV programmer otherwise known as the Stig's Virtual American cousin.   I treat LV the way the guys from "Top Gear" treat cars.  Sometimes I tinker under the hood, sometimes I leave flaming wreckage, but most times I try to do things that you shouldn't, wouldn't or was told you couldn't do with it, for no other reason than to see if it can be done.

I would have to agree. I have a very creative side too. It makes for really nice front ends on my software and very neat block diagrams. It can take hours for me to organize and place everything just so in the block diagram. I enjoy making custom controls and icons.

I enjoy seeing what I can get LabVIEW to do as well. I may not come up with the best way to do it sometimes but it always seems to work and when it doesn't I have to break out C++. I enjoy LabVIEW more however because it plays right into my visual learning and understanding.

I'm a recent grad, so I've gotta show my colors.
