I just got approval to attend NI-WEEK this year.

It will be my first so I am looking forward to it (less the Austin heat and humidity).

I don't get out to trade shows and semainars much at my current job.

I am probably going to be there, gives me a chance to mingle with like minded nerds, emmm, engineers. Also my Dad, brother, sister and nieces and nephews live in the Austin area. As to heat and humidity, well it can be hot, humidity usually isn't too bad (not as dry as Las Vegas), but bring a light jacket or you'll end up buying one from the NI Logo'd clothes girls to deal with over AC'd rooms.

I think that's awesome. This fall, my daughter will be a freshman in college and with an engineering major. Maybe we can be the first father/daughter team.

Wish I could go I havent been since 2003.  I had attended NI Week several times and always enjoyed it.  I will be pushing to go next year. Enjoy it.
