Did you mean:

moving, again

Hey guys.  I know I haven't been very active lately, just been too busy.  But things are about to change.  My company (Westinghouse) is shutting down its Scottsdale (AZ) operations and moving things to their headquarters in Cranberry, PA, just north of Pittsburgh.  I just have a couple of years left to become retirement eligible so I'm moving to PA for a couple of years.  Hopefully things won't be so busy and I can start posting more.

Is anyone on this forum in the Pittsburgh area?  It would be nice to meet some new faces.

To AK2DM:  I sure will miss our occasional lunches.  I'll think of you enjoying the cool AZ winters while I'm freezing my butt off in PA.  I'll also think of you suffering the brutal summers while I'm enjoying the cool summers in PA.  See you in a couple of years, buddy.

There at least used to be a couple of guys on here from DSA (located in Pittsburgh), including Ben.

But if you are ever in the Cincinnati area, look me up.

tbob,

You forgot about the humidity which goes with our "cool" summers. 85 degrees F at 50% RH is less comfortable than 99 degrees at 15%.

I shall miss you too, my friend. If you drop into town give me a call so we can meet. The summers out here seem to get more brutal as you get older.

If it is any consolation- RUSH was finally inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

Yep. Southern CA is about the best you can get weather-wise. The few months I spent there were perfect. Every. Single. Day.

Funny.  When I was there it was cold an rainy.  Everybody was bundled up in winter coats and freezing.  I was walking around in a short sleeve polo shirt.  It was also 30 degrees colder and snowing at home, so it was like a heat wave to me.
