That doesn't surprise me.  At least there's evidence of the problem being worked.

For me it worked quite well, to report one of these messages to a moderator as SPAM and every time it wasn't long, that all of the spam- messages disappeared from the list.

And after we had such a good span of quickly removed SPAM.  Looks like someone found a hole in the filter or somebody is taking the day off.

Somebody stopped coming in early. Those 5 AM wakeup calls to deal with spam can be miserable.
