Delta Regis DR-XTC Control system

Hi,

We have a bunch of delta Regis drivers and need to collect data in an automated fashion. I have the following questions.

  1. Does your toolkit support the DR-XTC ? its over open protocol
  2. We predominantly user teststand + labview on our automation line. What is the deployment price per station if we chose to go that route rather than an EXE?

Thanks

Thanks @DaddyMinion for the questions.  As long as the DR-XTC supports the versions or messages listed in the datasheet (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0261/9922/8493/files/CMC_DF_Open_Protocol_Torque_Tools_Datasheet.p...), then the toolkit should interact with the driver.  I did Google the tool and it's not clear to me from the information I could find posted that it does support Open Protocol.  We have never tested it against a piece of hardware from Delta Regis, but if it conforms to the Open Protocol standard from Atlas Copco, then it will come down to which MIDs and revisions of those MIDs it supports and how that overlaps with the current MIDs that we support.

For the pricing question, I think that's something we should talk about.  It will likely depend on how many stations and developers that will need to use the system.  The standard price (as of December 2023) for a license is $1,199 but we would be happy to talk about volume pricing.

If you'd like to download the trial and test it out with your DR-XTC, you can go to https://choose-mc.com/products/cmc-driver-for-open-protocol-torque-tools to get more information.  You can also send an email to torque.support@choose-mc.com and it will get to one of us and we can get into more details that way.
