I was wondering if anyone who is a CPI could share a little bit about your experience. I have always been interested in teaching math or physics at a community college, but I love LabVIEW as well so I think it would be fun to teach. Plus, I thought it might be easier to mix in with a full-time job than teaching at a community college. Please share anything you think is interesting, but here are some specific questions:
- How hard are the requirements? Reference for 1 year of teaching, 10-minute lecture video, plus taking a course from NI? I've done tutoring which I guess you could call teaching, but nothing super formal...
- If you are not a contractor, has your company been receptive to you taking a week off to go teach LabVIEW? Did you take it unpaid or make any other special arrangements?
- Was it worth it? Anything else I should know?
