Because of COVID-19, we cannot visit NI office and take CLAD/CLD/CLA exam in these days.
My company has some candidates to take those but they cannot. (CLD*2, CLA*2)
It would be helpful to be able to take those exam from remote in the future.
In that case, one concern is how to check the independence.
I know there are some difficulties but hope it.

NI was proctoring exams online. Give your rep a call and see what they can do for you.
It is the recert exams I am more interested in going online at the moment.

Hi all
We do currently offer online CLD and CLA. Just go to learn.ni.com/badges/certifications , click on the desired exam, and click on the big orange "Take __ Exam Online." There will be a blackout period from April 23 - 30 when this will not be available while we add additional exams (see below), but otherwise this should be business as usual.
Soon to come:
Starting April 30 we will be doing online Multiple-Choice exams: CLAD, CLD-R, CLA-R, CLED-1.
Also starting April 30, we will offer the new Performance-Based CTD online.
You will be able to register for these online exams starting April 29.

Thank you for the update. I have a question regarding this blackout period (23-30)
Is this blackout only for new exam registrations? Can someone still register for online exam before
this blackout period but schedule his exam for the dates between 23 and 30 April.

No online exams will be available during the blackout (April 23-30, registration reopens April 29). While we are adding multiple-choice exams, PSI is also moving our exams to a new platform. Exams are registered for and conducted on the same system, and the blackout period is to allow full production testing of the new system before launch.
