I have five encoders I want to read simultaneously using a cDAQ 9178. Is there a way this can be done even though there are only 4 counters. These are quadrature encoders, non-indexing. Thanks!
One posible workaround will be using a digital I/O module (ex 9401) and use the digital line to read the encoders by software. You can check th elink below:
