9411 to measure velocity AND count revolutions using index

I am using the quadrature mode for the 9411 on a cRIO and would like to count encoder (motor) revolutions in addition to measuring velocity.  Is there a way to capture the index pulse in a counter?

Hi Choff,

Using the FPGA you can do this, you just need to measure the time between edges for the velocity and use a counter for the position.
